The construction of a new wing to the grade two listed building and home of Henrietta, Duchess of Bedford. The works also comprised of the refurbishment and re-roofing of the main house and associated out buildings together with external soft and hard landscaping within the grounds.
The construction of a bespoke luxury house for a private client. The project incorporates both traditional brick and flint construction together with an oak framed skeleton in filled with rendered panels. Built off from a raft and piled supporting slab.
Internal finishes were kept to a traditional tudor style with both natural stone and oak timber floors. The external timber oak frame ran through to the inner walls to produce an authentic period atmosphere, whilst incorporating the latest modern technology.
New Archives Records facility
The construction of a new archives facility for the Bedford Estate. The facility comprises of a steel frame and traditional brick superstructure, supporting a
composite steel insulated roof system covered with traditional natural slates.
The building contracted as a 4 hour fire resistance structure includes air conditioning and a Inergen gas fire suppression system.
NHS Hospital Works
We have a wealth of experience working for the NHS, recent projects include the creation of a new burns unit at Stoke Mandeville Hospital in Aylesbury, the refurbishment of the main ITU and HDU wards, upgrades to the disabled bathrooms at St Joseph's Ward spinal unit, refurbishment of Micro Biology and Cellular Pathology departments at Stoke Mandeville Hospital and High Wycombe Hospital and the refurbishment of several maternity units.
NHS Fast Track Works
We completed the refurbishment and fit out of three new surgigal wards for the Buckinghamshire Healthcare Trust at Stoke Mandeville Hospital in Aylesbury. The project completed in twelve weeks from commencement and included eighteen new wet rooms.
